By accepting the terms and conditions, you, to be here after referred to as 'The User' agrees to the following arrangement:
The User confirms that all information provided to our service centre is accurate. This includes information used in online forms, correspondence, person-to-person contact, etc.
The User is solely responsible for the use of his or her user account, any other individual whom The User shares the account information with has the authorization under this contract to speak for The User for online purchasing and repair orders. We reserves the right to refuse service of any suspect order that we feel may be unauthorized by The User. In the case of refused service, the requesting individual is encouraged to create a new user account with his or her own pricing and contact information.
The User agrees to conduct themselves in a professional manner while adding notes/comments to his or her pending or closed orders. This prohibits the use of foul or demeaning language and personal threats. This condition also extends to any other form of communication with us.
Proof of purchase is required by the manufacturer/extended warranty provider and is the sole responsibility of The User. Some manufactures provide a Cross Ship program to provide a higher level of service for their warranty customers. This may result in a delay of several weeks. Some purchased parts cannot be returned as per the manufacturers policies, and all purchased parts not installed by an authorized service technician have no warranty coverage and cannot be returned.
This Service Centre is not responsible for any data or information loss on serviced units as well as any damage incurred during shipping, this includes, among other things, damage due to improperly packaged units. The User is responsible for any loss or damage incurred in shipping. Insurance is available at an additional cost, please contact customer service for a quote.
The User acknowledges that for units dropped off at the Service Centre, there is a standard diagnostic fee of $85.00 and for units using our pick up and drop off program there is a $130.00 diagnostic and shipping fee. Units will not be released until this fee has been paid. If the unit is not picked up after 30 days, the Customer acknowledges that this Repair Centre reserves the right to reclaim or scrap the unit at their discretion without further notice.
The User is responsible for hard drive backups the Service Centre can usually back up your data to DVDs for a fee of $55. The User agrees with the stated problem and that the unit is to be assessed based upon this acknowledgement. The User is responsible for all the charges related to the repair if the manufacturer declines warranty claim and will be billed accordingly.
In order to sign up for an account, the user must have reached the age of majority in Canada.
Please Note, refurbished units cannot be repaired under manufacturers warranty, any repair requests on these units will be charged the full amount due.
**Requirement is determined solely by the technician assigned to repair the unit in question. If The User requires data recovery or software maintenance, they are required to contact Customer Service at (800) 888-7553 Ext 705.
